The title of my blog "Life is what happens" was inspired by a song which John Lennon wrote for his son. The lyrics of "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)" contain the famous Lennon quote, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
Memorial Day Tributes
While soldiers serve in the field risking their lives daily, their spouses are at home taking care of business to keep the family going.
I love this picture of my uncle & aunt's wedding. The symbolism of the crossed swords protecting the new union is predictive of the importance of the mutual support system.
